The contents of this collection detail a set of metadata only records to present a catalogue of research data resources that, while the files themselves are not held in this repository, are still available elsewhere, even if access may not be fully public.

The links referenced in these records point to data held under a variety of individual licences and may have variable accessibility. This may range from fully public, to being only accessible by those with access to the individual facility, or may be stored privately.

The collection only contains records of data held at defined locations (e.g. figshare or the UK National Crystallography Service), as opposed to data that may be held on personal or group storage by a researcher and made available on request
