Data store for "A spatial approach to evaluating the multiple benefits of Sustainable Drainage Systems using blue-green infrastructure" DOI for paper: DOI for data store: Last edited 06.03.17 by Emily O'Donnell (emily.o'donnell@nottingham.ac.uk) /------------------------------------------------------------------------/ Folder These data were produced as part of the interdisciplinary Blue-Green Cities Research Project. The data are ArcGIS files (e.g. shapefiles, rasters, vector files) and excel spreadsheets of an assessment of the multiple benefits of different Blue-Green infrastructure strategies in three case study areas of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, UK. The research proposed the concepts of benefit intensity, benefit profile and benefit dependency as three ways to look at how the benefits accrue spatially and the relative significance of each benefit. The data can be open using GIS software, ideally ArcGIS, but some files can be viewed in QGIS. There are three zipped folders of data showing the results (multiple benefits) from applications of the GIS tool in different locations in Newcastle: 1. Wingrove case study data 2. Urban Core case study data 3. Newcastle Great Park case study data There is additionally a zipped folder with diagrams illustrating the multiple benefits (and single benefits) at all three sites. /------------------------------------------------------------------------/ END of file
