Open Access and Creative Commons
A very important aspect of all of these resources is
that they are Open Access, or Creative Common, meaning that they are available
free of charge and can be downloaded and re-used.
This must surely be the way forward and several
scholars, such as Alaric
Hall from the University of Leeds, are exemplars of Open Access publishing,
making sure that wherever possible their research is freely available so that
all might access, and benefit from, their knowledge.
