Books

The following is a selection of useful books on the subject of this module. The codes in square brackets refer to the library at the University of Nottingham.

The books by Apostol, Thurston and Wade are probably the most suitable for this module. Wade's book is very nice and carefully written, and is available in a new paperback edition (unfortunately a little expensive). It contains lots of background information on more than 600 pages and will be useful for many other modules (as will Apostol's book).
