Aims and Objectives
This is a
short intensive course that covers most of the mathematical tools needed for
studying economics at the graduate level. Some students may have seen all this
before and can consider this to be a refresher course that reinforces existing
knowledge. Others may not be familiar with all the material, and will have to put
considerable time and effort into the course. In any case, many graduate
modules will presume students are familiar with this material. Attendance is compulsory
for M.Sc. students and is recommended for M.A. students.
